THE LODGE &
ACCOMODATIONS

Located on a long peninsula at the northern-most part of the lake, the main lodge and cabins provide a spectacular view of the lake.


For our self-guided wall tent excursions, 6-person wall tents are provided with single beds or cots, bedding not included. Our wall tent accommodations are located approximately 400 meters from the main lodge.

MEALS & DRINKS

Our self guided wall tent excursions do not include meals or beverages. Please bring food items for 7 days, coffee grounds, cooking spices, condiments etc. Items are available for purchase at the lodge, however quantities may be limited.

TRANSPORTATION & TRAVEL ITINERARY

  • Travel from your home to McMurray Aviation, approx 5 minute drive from the Ft. McMurray International Airport

  • Fly via float plane to Cree Lake Lodge

  • 5 days fishing (standard package)

  • Float plane from Cree Lake Lodge to McMurray Aviation, Ft McMurray

  • Return to your home

  • Luggage weight restrictions are as follows: 50 lbs per guest (all inclusive) and 100 lbs per guest (self guided)

WHAT TO BRING
ACCORDING TO FISH TYPE

For our self guided wall tent excursions, please also bring personal toiletries, bedding, fishing gear, rain gear, food items for 7 days, coffee grounds, cooking spices and condiments.

NORTHERN PIKE

The Northern Pike fishing at Cree Lake can only be described as remarkable. Northerns over 50" can be caught at Cree Lake! 40" plus are common sizes at this magnificant lake, making it a routine occurrence for guests to break their personal bests

LAKE TROUT

Lake Trout at Cree Lake grow up to 60lbs with 20lbs being commonplace. These fish key in on bait fish type imitations and engulf offerings as only an apex predator can.

Arctic Grayling are great fun on light tackle and fly rods. Guests can literally catch dozens of these scrappy residents which provides them with one more “thing to do” while visiting Canada’s greatest lake.
